During week 7, Project Director, Rob 100% Wallace, was given a new title 'Edge Finder General' in recognition of his work in establishing the edge of the 'figure-of-8' possible kiln and stokehole in the NE corner of the trench. This greatly expands the size of Feature 48 with the deposit of burnt clay and chalk first discovered in 2018 becomming just a small area on its NW edge.
Half sectioning this feature will be amongst the targets for the students during Week 8 which for most will be their last week at the dig this year.
