David, Andy B, Andy S and Bruce out on site today (16th May) to try and uncover the deeper excavs and pump out the flooded pits. New excavs were fine but the deep pits from 2020/21 in F48 & F39 had to be left for another day due to a failiure to generate the generator which curtailed the pumping needed to free the plastic sheeting.
But picnic tables were deployed and trench extremities were strimmed and other general preparations undertaken.
Looking to have better results on deep excavs next week especially if dry weather this week helps to dry the floods a bit. Thanks to the work crew for todays efforts.
